Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep, repair, and operational efficiency of our facilities in Georgetown, Texas. In this role, you will handle preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure a safe environment for all occupants. The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial or industrial facilities maintenance and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
This position is located onsite in Georgetown, TX.

Key Responsibilities
- Preventive Maintenance: Execute routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems to prevent equipment failure.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical fixtures, plumbing leaks, drywall, flooring, and basic mechanical equipment anomalies quickly.
- Vendor Coordination: Assist in supervising third-party contractors and vendors during specialized system repairs or major facility renovations.
- Safety & Compliance: Monitor building safety systems—including fire alarms, extinguishers, and emergency lighting—to comply with local building codes and OSHA standards.
- Work Order Management: Track, log, and complete daily work orders using our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in commercial facilities maintenance, building engineering, or a related trade.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of HVAC operation, commercial plumbing, and 110v/220v electrical systems.
- Certifications: EPA Universal certification or a specific trade license (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) is highly preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and stand or walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong time management, and a customer-service-oriented approach when interacting with staff.
