Your primary mission is to mitigate risk, prevent accidents, and foster a proactive culture of safety through regular audits, comprehensive training, and rigorous risk assessments.

Job Responsibilities
- Conduct safety audits: Perform regular compliance inspections, 6S audits, and machinery risk assessments to guarantee adherence to OSHA and local regulations.
- Investigate workplace incidents: Lead investigations for accidents, near-misses, and injuries using root-cause analysis to implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Deliver safety training: Develop and facilitate educational sessions for new hires, production staff, and management on hazard communication and emergency procedures.
- Mitigate facility hazards: Identify production risks, including machine guarding, electrical hazards, and chemical exposure, and execute timely corrective solutions.
- Manage emergency readiness: Coordinate emergency response plans, lead routine fire and safety drills, and ensure the maintenance of firefighting equipment.
- Maintain compliance records: Manage precise, up-to-date documentation for incident reports, training logs, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Champion safety culture: Promote a proactive safety environment facility-wide by leading safety committee meetings and engaging with frontline staff.
- Oversee contractor safety: Monitor and enforce compliance with Pegatron safety policies for all external vendors and contractors working on-site.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 2 - 4 years of safety experience specifically within a manufacturing or electronic assembly environment.
- Certification: OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification (General Industry) preferred.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards, fire safety codes, and industrial hygiene principles.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored for running training sessions and writing compliance reports.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
