Office Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Pegatron Technologies LLC is seeking a highly skilled and dependable Office Automation Engineer to join our Information Technologies team. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of office automation systems, server infrastructure, and network environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to support both hardware and software systems critically to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot Office Automation (OA) systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Oversee server room operations, including hardware maintenance, environmental controls, and security compliance.
  • Perform network system maintenance, including configuration, monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Assist new employees with OA setup and resolve equipment-related issues promptly.
  • Manage IT equipment maintenance, including servers, networking devices, and server room facilities.
  • Conduct network troubleshooting, including ISP circuit issues and cybersecurity incident response.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure reliable IT infrastructure and security standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Language proficiency: English, Chinese (preferred)
  • 3 years of experience in OA system maintenance
  • 3 years of experience in network maintenance
  • 3 years of experience in server maintenance
  • 3 years of experience in information security management

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in Office Automation systems and related software tools
  • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience with server administration (Windows/Linux), virtualization, and storage solutions
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with ISP circuit management and network performance monitoring tools
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Certifications

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent networking certification.
  • CompTIA Security+ or other cybersecurity-related certifications.
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or Azure Administrator Associate.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification for IT Service Management.
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) for virtualization
