Pegatron Technologies LLC is seeking an ambitious Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to support Texas manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and facilities operations. The EHS Specialist is responsible for driving, influencing, and achieving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and overall risk reduction.

- Lead the sustainment of EHS programs, systems, and procedures, including conducting EHS process and equipment safety reviews as part of the Management of Change (MOC) process
- Serve as an EHS partner to Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, and Process Development teams. Conduct Job Hazard Analyses, Pre-Task Plans, PPE Assessments, and Equipment Safety buyoffs to ensure appropriate safeguards are recommended, implemented, and verified
- Support field activities by providing daily EHS oversight, participating in pre-job planning, and verifying that required controls and safeguards are in place before work begins
- Facilitate the event learning process to determine contributing factors and recommend corrective and preventive actions to mitigate or avoid future events
- Manage the tracking, analysis, and reporting of EHS performance metrics against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive strategic and tactical planning
- Ensure the effective application of EHS Management System elements throughout operations. Develop new procedures, inspections, training, or reports as needed
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines established by OSHA, NFPA, IFC, NIOSH, DOT, EPA, and other relevant regulatory agencies and consensus standards
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of progressive experience as an EHS professional, preferably in battery cell, cathode, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or heavy chemical manufacturing, or a related industry
- Experience supporting EHS program development, training personnel at all levels, and influencing or managing change to reduce EHS risk
- Advanced knowledge and field experience with Lockout/Tagout procedures, Chemical Hazard Communication and Safety, incident investigation, machinery safety, electrical safety, confined space entry, NFPA, IFC, OSHA, and EPA requirements
- Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and confidently under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
