Summary
The Import/Export Compliance & Logistics Specialist supports logistics daily operations, carrier coordination, and trade compliance activities. This position handles day-to-day operational tasks, coordinates with carriers and freight forwarders, and manages compliance form processing while ensuring operational continuity and reducing compliance risk for the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily U.S. domestic and international logistics operations, ensuring shipments are scheduled, tracked, and delivered on time.
  • Manage relationships with carriers and freight forwarders, supporting rate assessment, contract coordination, and quotation processes.
  • Support trade compliance activities, including tariff and HS code classification research, and the preparation of import/export documentation.
  • Provide cross-functional coordination, meeting support, and documentation to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, trade compliance, or customs brokerage.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. customs regulations and global trade compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing is a plus.
  • Trade compliance certifications (e.g., CCS - Certified Customs Specialist, CUSECO) is a plus.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working with global suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers.
  • Familiarity with Incoterms and international shipping documentation.
  • Experience in Free Trade Zone (FTZ) manufacturing environments is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze logistics data and generate performance and compliance reports.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus (e.g., Chinese, Spanish).
